We are excited to host the Delft Algorithm Programming Contest for you! Hopefully, you are as excited as we are for a day full of programming and fun! This email will contain practical information about the day itself, the rules of the contest and any other information you might need. Please read it carefully.
The contest will take place on Saturday, the 21st of September in Drebbelweg (Cornelis Drebbelweg 5, 2628 CM Delft). The schedule of the day can be found further down in this post.

Also in 2024, the CHipCie will organise the Delft Algorithm Programming Contest (DAPC). This event is free for all TU Delft students. The best teams will qualify to represent the Delft University of Technology on the Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest.
The contest will take place on Saturday the 21st of September 2024. The program will be posted here on a later date.

Freshmen Programming Contest 2024
Are you a freshman and do you want to solve puzzles in a team with your friends? Then the Freshmen Programming Contest is for you!
On the 4th of May, the annual Freshmen Programming Contest will be held. The puzzles are suited for both beginners and experts, so don’t be afraid to join! This contest is a great opportunity for you to sharpen your programming and puzzling skills!
The event lasts approximately from 10:00 until 18:00. More details will be shared with you in advance of the contest. Teams with non-freshmen members are able to join as space allows, but will be assigned to the spectator pool, meaning they do not count towards the final ranking.

The contest will take place on the 23rd of September in Drebbelweg. The schedule of the day can be found further down in this post. Below, you will find the rules for the contest. Please read these carefully. Not adhering to these rules can result in the disqualification of your team.
Beginner Training DAPC 2023
This year the CHipCie will be organizing training for beginner and intermediate teams. Over four sessions all problems from last year’s BAPC and DAPC will be discussed, together with a good deal of practical information on participating in a programming contest. We also hope to invite some interesting guest speakers.
Are you interested in participating? Want to be prepared or practice before the 2023 edition of the DAPC? You are welcome to attend the training sessions. The first session will be held on Monday 11th of September at 18:00. During this session, there will be the opportunity to meet new team members. The training will be held in hall G in the EEMCS building.

For the 2022 edition of NWERC, we are looking for volunteers (runners) to help during the weekend. The NWERC is from Friday the
25th of November to Sunday the 27th of November. The job of a runner includes helping set up the contest hall, joining participants in
activities, and bringing balloons and prints during the contest. If you want to volunteer as runner, you can fill in the form here.
